A WEEK IN SKETCHING

For the past few days, whenever I have had a free moment I have been working on a sort of narrative illustration to depict a lovely few days I had during last week. I wanted to note down the memories in a more interesting way and decided that some sort of visual diary entry would be the best way to do it.

Sometimes you have moments/days/weeks/ that you feel are particularly special and deserve to be recorded and last week I had a few days with my boyfriend, friends and family that I have translated into a drawing. There are very subtle details and each part represents something and contains a personal meaning.

To summarise the time – lots of laughter, an awkward packed lunch, train journeys, red wine, an extremely talented and wonderful friend performing in a play in London, wicked views, very long conversations with very good friends, great time spent with family and a very happy wedding.
